I love a warm medium/deep colored brown. They are just perfection for blending through the crease (if you enjoy warm toned shadows that is). My NARS shadow collection has been growing steadily lately, and Bengali is my newest. The texture is smooth and buttery without any fallout. The longer I am into makeup the less I tolerate fallout. I’ve found formulas that don’t have any and now when a shadow feels like hanging out on my cheeks, I just have no patience for it. I think its one of the biggest reasons I love NARS shadows. They are smooth and creamy but not to the point where you get fallout. Its the prefect consistency.
Bengali is just a bit darker then a standard medium brown, and I find I like these shades best in my crease. I have been going really simple on the eye makeup lately, using a nice light shade over and lids and a great color like Bengali in the crease. Its dark enough to define the eye without needing a ton of different shadows or work. Bengali blends beautifully, which is a must with darker matte shades like these (and also very impressive mind you). It also lasts a good 9-10 hours (with a primer, since I am never without) without creasing on my lids.
It really ticks all the boxes for me in terms of quality. If this color is one you would get a lot of use out of, or if you need a new amazing brown shadow in your life, I would highly recommend Bengali. You can get this shadow online, at NARS counters and, at Sephora for $25 (which is admittedly steep but, an excellent quality shadow).

This looks absolutely delicious. I haven’t hear about it very often nor ever tried it, but I shall!! I recently bought Coconut Grove as a single (it’s so much better than it is in any of the palettes) but that’s a lot cooler toned. Thanks for the heads-up!
