NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee

I wanted to review this gloss and also show you something. I have thinner lips, and I wanted to show you the difference not only a glossy formula makes but also the color of a product can make in the look of your lips.

First, Creme Brulee is a pretty pinky-nude color that doesn’t wash me out (thank goodness!). I also love the way these glosses feel on my lips. They are super smooth, non-sticky and, hydrating. Basically, everything I love in a gloss. They also smell amazing, all sugary and sweet. I got mine at Ulta for around $5, and I think it is totally worth it. These don’t last very long on the lips (only an hour or two), but since they are so cheap, I honestly don’t mind. You can get them online as well.

The rundown: B+ (lasting power cannot be forgotten, no matter how amazing these feel on the lips)

My side note to this review (the gloss is awesome, you should try them) is how different your lips look in a light or dark lip color. Lips look fuller in lighter shades, and a glossy finish adds to the juice. You can tell just from the photos above. If you are like me, and suffer from thinner lips, this is a great way to fake a fuller pout without fussing with a lip liner.
