NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Light2 Vanilla

I got this concealer because I have no powers of will or restraint at NARS counters, I just don’t. Its a serious problem. I got the color Light2 Vanilla, which I think matches pretty well. It is a radiant concealer, and the shade I have has a pink undertone. I use concealers mostly on my acne prone face, so the whole pink toned thing isn’t ideal. But we can make it work.

It really lives up to its name. It is very radiant, leaving the skin glowy and moisturized. It is also very very creamy. It blends with basically no effort, and it can be very easy to over blend and basically rub it away. I like to let it sit a bit to thicken up before I blend. The doe foot applicator is good, but it can be easy to over apply, so just be careful, maybe take some off on your hand or a brush before using it.

This isn’t a waterproof concealer, and the wear time reflects that on my oily-as-heck skin. This doesn’t hang with me all day, but that will be less of an issue if you have dry or even normal skin (my oils have super powers, they can dissolve a concealer in only 4-5 hours).

Even though this concealer isn’t perfect, I really like it for some uses.  I like using it under powder foundations. Using this concealer and then a power foundation over top works really really well. I like this concealer for covering large areas, like red cheeks, or if you have an area (forehead comes to mind) of pimples. With a primer under it and powder over, I can get this concealer to last all day.

I do like wearing powder foundations a lot (oil, how you torment me) so this concealer gets a lot of use. I still reach for my Make Up Forever Full Cover concealer more often than not, but this is a good one if you don’t want to spend as much on a concealer.
