Every fall two lip colors come back in style. A deep, red/maroon lip and a nude lip. These are my favorite deep red and nude lips from MAC (my holy-grail lipstick one-stop shop).
Nude: MAC Freckletone. This is a brown/beige/peachy tone, and I think it looks really nice on the lips. The lustre finish is great, since its a bit sheer it doesn’t create that concealer lips look. It blends really nicely with my natural lip color and just tones it down some. I love wearing it with a smokey eye, or just heavier eye makeup in general. Its a very classic, simple look.
Deep Red: MAC Dark Side. Its a dark, deep red/burgundy color. The finish is an amplified creme, so it goes on really smoothly and full coverage. Its creamy, and doesn’t dry out my lips. I usually wear this lipstick with simple, clean eyes and cheeks. That way, my lips pull all the focus.
