If you were around when I got my first YSL Glossy Stain (post here) you know I fell in love with the formula. Its very long wearing (about 5 hours on me) and it stains (and I am all about the low maintenance lip colors, since I am a serial offender of not reapplying). This goes on glossy, which complements my thinner lips and helps their texture since they are always dry. After a few hours it dries down to a stain, which is just perfect.
This product does go kind of thicker a few seconds after you apply, but I don’t find it irritating or “too present” on my lips. I have been all about the brighter pinky/red/fuchsia lip this past summer. I think one day while I was at Sephora this little guy just made it into my bag (don’t know how it got in there). I really love this color, it reads more red on my lips than pink, but its still very flattering.
My collection is growing people, these lip products are just too perfect to not get more of. Have you tried these? What do you think? Any color suggestions (warning, I will almost certainly buy anything you all suggest)!?

I am not a big shimmer fan either. But the ones I have don’t really wear shimmery on my lips. They’re pretty matte looking. I don’t know if that’s because I chose ones without much shimmer or they just don’t wear that way. Now that I think about it one of them does look shimmery in the bottle- like real shimmery- but so not once it’s on. Maybe try one and see. Because I don’t think I’d be wearing and loving them so much if they were a shimmer party. Love your posts!

I love the Glossy Stains; I have 4. I haven’t worn them much in the summer, but will be sure to get reacquainted again soon! (Mine are not shimmer).
