Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask is a Workhorse

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask

I picked this up on a whim in Sephora one day. I’m always looking for great moisturizing lip products this time of year, and when I heard good things about this product I had to give it a shot. I have also never heard of a “lip mask” before, and I was straight up curious.

Bite Beauty is an all-natural brand that uses food grade ingredients in all its lip products. This particular lip mask is meant to nourish and soothe lips, from Bite:

This innovative, natural formula smooths, nourishes, and moisturizes lips with a bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract, and triple the amount of antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine.

The product comes in a metal squeeze tube, which is a little hard to squeeze at first, but after you’ve used it a bit it gets easier. You also need the tiniest bit of it, so you don’t have to mash on the thing for too long. I use mine before bed (it lasts till morning, when I can still feel it on my lips), and sometimes even again during the day. Its a thick clear gel that has a slight green tinge to it, and smells a bit like vanilla and honey. It somehow doesn’t feel heavy or goopy on my lips.

I’ve been keeping you on the hook long enough, I love this stuff! Its amazing! Its changed my lips big time. During the winter I tend to avoid lipsticks in favor of tinted balms or lip liner with chapstick over it since my lips are just so so dry. After a few days of using this at night before bed, my lips are moisturized. I can wear lipstick during the day again! Its like a miracle in a tube, honestly. My only advice would be to be consistent using it. If I skip a night, my lips tend to get dry again.

It is a pricey product, coming in at 0.520z for $26. I think its worth considering that you only need a tiny bit, and that this product actually works. I can’t tell you how easily I can go through $26 on moisturizing lip products that don’t do anything for me at all. For me personally, this is worth it, and I will repurchase this lip mask once I am done with it. You can get this moisturizing workhorse at Sephora or online.
