Clairsonic (2)

Hi guys (and happy Friday!). I wanted to update you on my Clairsonic experience. At the end of last week I cooled it with the Clairsonic since my skin was breaking out, but since about 6 days ago I’ve been using it again (but I’ve only used it 5 times, I was lazy one day). I’ve been using mine for about 3 weeks now, and this past week I have used it every night since that was the intention I had when I bought it and I wanted to see how it would go (well, except for one, on one I was being lazy, shame on me).

At this point, my skin is mostly clear. I have two bigger pimples going on, but otherwise my skin looks really nice. This is not normal for me, usually I have quite a few clusters of pimples all over my face. I have very acne prone skin, and I’m really enjoying my skin now with the Clairsonic.

I don’t know if this will last, or what, but I plan to keep using the Clairsonic at night. I haven’t really noticed any changes in my pores, but I didn’t expect those kinds of results quickly anyway. I’m still using the Clairsonic on the most gentle setting and for one minute. I don’t really plan to up the frequency of the head or the length of time while I’m getting good results. I’ll let you know if that changes.

I still do a mask one night a week, so I don’t use my Clairsonic 7 times a week, just 6. And I don’t use it in the morning, only at night. Just in case you were wondering how I’ve been using it.

Are these posts helpful? Are you guys interested? Do you have any kind of opinion on the whole Clairsonic thing?

  1. I’ve been using the Clarisonic Mia 2 sinds halfway through December and I love it. My pores are smaller and my skin softer. But then, I’m old, and one of the perks of being old is not having any breakouts LOL. I use it once a day, in the evening.
I think that these articles are valuable for ladies who may be looking to purchase one of these. I read a number of personal reviews from bloggers I respect before I bought mine.

  2. I really like your blog! I am a new follower. I am unsure about the Clarisonic too. I love how soft and silky it makes my skin feel, but I think it does tend to break me out sometimes. I change the brush head like I am supposed to. I think it’s the best exfoliation I have ever gotten though!

    1. Thank you Christina Lauren! I think when it breaks you out you should give your skin a chance to rest from the Clairsonic until your skin clears (it worked nicely for me that way). Then you can go back to it, and see how your skin reacts.
