This is another review of a product mentioned in my favorites of 2013 post. The MAC Boldly Bare Lip Pencil is my jam. I love this stuff.
Its a wooden pencil that you sharpen, no twist up here, which helps to get a really fine point. Its a really pretty pinky-peach-nude shade. I love using this since its long lasting and works wonders under other lip products like lipsticks and glosses. I also love it for the winter since you can wear it with a lip balm over and look all put together but also moisturize your lips (its a sneaky win).
You’ve seen me wear this is past posts, but this product deserves its own shout-out. It goes on smoothly, lasts for hours and is just a beautiful color. Also, if you have thin lips like me (my upper lip is basically a joke) this color is really great for overdrawing your lips. Its a natural but opaque shade, so your overdraw looks very natural.
You can get this amazing lip liner at MAC counters, stores and online for $15. Whats your favorite lip liner? Do you use one?
The rundown: A+, and a favorite status.
Shame on me but I never use lip liner. It dries my lips out too much, and I feel like I can go perfectly without it.

I don’t think you always need lip liner, I just find it easy some days because of the staying power. I think you can go without just about always (I’m a regular offender of not wearing lip liner with red lips, whoops…)

I never use a lip liner. I own Chanel pencil in Natural, though. But I never use it! This looks really pretty on you.

Thank you Bella! I would recommend trying a lip liner with a gloss or chapstick over it. It ends up being a long wearing, moisturizing lip color.

Whoaaa this is SUCH AN AMAZING SHADE ON YOU, Natalie! Definitely an MLBB! I really don’t own that many lip pencils or use them all that much, but I’m beginning to change my mind 😉

Hi Sunny, thank you! I think you would like a lip pencil if you tried the right one.
