Be honest, you didn’t read the list. Thankfully I’ll be going into the products separately, so no worries. First, I own a lot of these products already. I own the Smashbox BB cream, the Anastasia brow gel, the B&B surf spray, the Josie Maran Argan Oil, both Orgasm and Laguna and the Urban Decay shadows in Sin and Mushroom. I have to say, I love all of these products. They all straight up deliver. When I saw them in the kit, I was pretty excited, mostly since I need a new Smashbox BB cream and a new Josie Maran argan oil, so this was just convenient (oh the excuses). Quick reviews on what I own:

Anastasia Brow Gel: Glue for your brows, love love love. I have a full review of this on my blog here.

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray: I like to spray a few spritzes of this in my hands and scrunch into wet hair, it brings out my naural waves and gives me  some nice texture.

Smashbox BB Cream: Not so good in the summer, great in the winter. This doesn’t have super amazing coverage, but its a really nice texture and give my oily skin some moisture, but also helps keep my oil in check. Plus the SPF 35 doesn’t hurt nothing.

Josie Maran Argan Oil: I don’t use this on my face, it doesn’t really do anything, and I make enough of my own oil anyway (ewww right!?). I love using this on my neck and décolletage, you don’t want wrinkles there either people.

NARS Orgasm and Laguna: I love both of these colors, I’m of the type that loves Orgasm, and I know not everyone is. Laguna is just awesome though, and this duo is super handy.

Urban Decay Sin and Mushroom: These are Urban Decay shadows, so the quality is top notch. No fall out and super buttery soft, pigmented shadows that make a great duo. I have no problems fitting a brush on either side of the pan, which is great.

The other quickie reviews:

NARS Dolce Vita: A super pretty dusty rose shade that will suit just about everyone.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner: This one is black (yes!!) and it means business. This guy is long wearing, pigmented, and easy to apply. I love it.

Origins GinZing: This is a brightening eye cream, and it has a pink tint and iridescence to it. Its really amazing at brightening up the under eye area, this one should not be used all around your eye as the ingredients will weigh down your upper lid.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Rollerball: This is really a personal preference, if you like the scent (its a strong floral/oriental scent) this is a handy thing to throw in your purse. Go give it a sniff if you haven’t before.

Debrah Lippmann Polish in Cleopatra in New York: This is a really pretty black based polish with gold glitter. I got opaque black in two coats (seen below). I really love this polish, its my first Deborah Lippmann polish, and I found it applied really nicely. The glitter didn’t slip off my nails, but packed on well.

Too Faced Better Than False Lashes System: This one is pretty fun, you apply the black first, the whispy white fuzz second, and then go over the whole deal with the black again. This gave me super long lashes, but not much volume. It was really fun to apply, and wore well (no flaking or smudging). I also didn’t have trouble taking it off, which was nice. I probably won’t use this everyday ( 3 steps is a but much for me) but this is fun for special occasions.

Speaking of special occasions, I wore this whole kit to go see the Pennsylvania Ballet’s Jewels (it was amazing). And I have to say, this kit is just straight up pretty, classy makeup. I’m wearing, Orgasm/Laguna on my cheeks, Sin on my lid and Mushroom in the crease. Stila Stay All Day liner on my eyes with Too Faced Better Than False Lashes on my lashes. Smashbox BB cream is my base (I did use concealer and powder with it, I have pimples, and oil, its a struggle people). Anastasia brow gel is through my caterpillars and NARS Dolce Vita is on my lips.

I think this kit is amazing bang for your buck, even if you aren’t a total kit sucker like I am. You can get this box of makeup goodies for yourself or as a gift at Sephora stores or online for (a mere) $75.

The rundown: A+

In case you were wondering, this is what I wore to the ballet. I have very classical views of theatre, and I always dress up a little (its fun and a gown is definitely not needed). I went to see a show called Jewels, which has three acts, Emeralds, Rubies and Diamonds. It was amazing, if you are in the Philly area or have a chance to see it, I highly recommend it.
